A school where happy pupils “flourish academically and personally” has been name outstanding by Ofsted inspectors.
Trafalgar Infant School, in Twickenham, was visited by the academic assessors earlier this summer term who gave the school the highest standard possible.
In their report, the inspectors said: “Trafalgar Infant School is an outstanding school where pupils flourish academically and personally and where the balance between academic achievements and pupils’ happiness is just right.”
Headteacher LynneThompson said: “We are all delighted with this report. The whole school community works constantly and consistently to look at ways we can improve the outcomes and experiences for our children and their families and it is very rewarding to have this recognised and acknowledged by Ofsted.”
