Little ones have been celebrating after their nursery was officially recognised as outstanding.
Ofsted inspectors visited Murray Park Nursery, based in Whitton Baptist Church, and were impressed by the quality and standards of childcare shown by the staff.
It is the first time the nursery, which has been running for 35 years, has achieved an outstanding status, the highest accolade a school can receive in Ofsted inspections.
The nursery received no prior warning of the inspection, which was carried out on Tuesday, June 21.
Owner of the nursery Katherine Goldburn said: “They see your setting exactly for what it is, so there is no pre-preparation. My staff and I are absolutely delighted and very proud.
“It’s a major thing for us.”
