Richmond has been brought to a standstill after a fire broke out in the town centre.
About 20 firefighters are currently battling the blaze in a shed and outside storage building in George Street, which is believed to have broken out at about 2pm today.

George Farrell, who started work only today in Digdeep shop, in High Street, said: “There’s a shed behind the Links store that caught on fire quite quickly. It spread to the flats above.
“It [the fire] got huge in seconds.
“There was a lot of people and a lot of panic.”
A London Fire Brigade spokesman confirmed firefighters from Twickenham, Kingston and Chiswick fire stations were still at the scene fighting the fire.
Nearby Red Lion Street is currently closed one way and delays have been reported due to the fire.
