People will be able to find out more about the proposed Twickenham station development at a public meeting.

The Twickenham Advisory Panel, a group of residents from the area advising the leader of the council Lord True on plans for Twickenham, have arranged the meeting on Thursday, July 14. Their aim is to ensure that people get the chance to understand and question the proposals.

Solum Regeneration - a joint venture between Network Rail and Kier Property - proposes a new station and 115 apartments in three high-rise buildings on the site.

Panel member Graham Henderson said: “Twickenham is our town, and it is important that residents understand what is being proposed, and have the chance to question those who are charged with delivering a new station for the town.”

The meeting will take place between 7pm and 9pm in the main hall at Richmond College, in Egerton Road and will include a presentation by Solum and a question and answer session.

Those wishing to ask a question are requested to email it in advance by emailing tap@richmond.gov.uk.
