Parents were taught how to keep their children accident-free at a day of child safety advice.
Heathfield Children’s Centre, in Powder Mill Lane, opened its doors for a day of events focused on how to keep children safe, as part of Child Safety Week.
Community police officers were on hand to offer out advice, while demos were given on first aid advice for parents, at the event on Thursday, June 24.
Child Safety Week is an annual event which aims to highlight the importance of keeping kids safe from accidents.
Accidents, many of which are preventable, remain one of the biggest killers of children in the UK, second only to cancer.
