Christmas Trees can be recycled more easily this year - thanks to a new scheme.
Richmond Council's tree collection service means trees can be removed free of charge from today until January 28.
The trees will be collected on the same day as the usual recycling.
Trees need to be stripped of all decorations and left outside on recycling day next to residents' recycling containers.
Every tree collected will be recycled and not sent to landfill.
Alternatively trees can be dropped off for recycling at the Townmead Road reuse and recycling centre. Other drop-off locations include Wickes car park in South Road, Twickenham, or Squires Garden Centre in Sixth Cross Road.
