Anyone who has had a dark grey women's mountain bike stolen has been asked to contact police.
Officers are investigating a man who was stopped on a bike that was not his and believe it was stolen from the Teddington area last month.
But nothing matching the description - a dark grey ladies mountain bike marked with a series of letters and numbers by a permanent marker pen on the underneath of the frame – has been reported stolen.
Anyone who thinks this bike is theirs should call PC Paul Wright at Richmond police station on 020 8247 7218.
