Sally Challen has been charged with the murder of her estranged husband Richard Challen.
Mrs Challen is due to appear at Staines Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning.
Mr Challen, 61, of Ruxley Ridge, died of severe blunt force trauma to the head a postmortem examination at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford concluded.
His body was found at his home by Surrey Police officers on Sunday afternoon.
Mr Challen was a former owner of Westlake Garages in Richmond.
