A massive power cut has caused misery for thousands of fans in Twickenham trying to watch England play Slovenia in the World Cup.
A blackout believed to stretch from TW1 to TW12 put fans in the dark moments after Defoe scored for England in the 21st minute.
The power cut has affected everything from televisions to traffic lights and energy supplier for the area EDF Energy is unsure when power will be returned.
A spokesman said: “EDF Energy Networks would like to apologise to several thousand customers in the Twickenham area who lost power supplies at 3.20pm today after a fault on the electricity distribution network.
“Engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to ensure power is restored soon.”

During half time, I got on my bike and decided to cycle East until I found a pub with electricity.
Made it to a very busy pub in East Sheen for the 2nd half.
OK so I missed the goal but I don't care. We made it through.
