ALCOHOLIC Alvin Stevens, who was the first man in the Thames Valley Police area to be given an anti-social behaviour order, has now been bound over to keep the peace.

Stevens, 38, from Bookerhill Road, Booker, who is still subject to the order, and is is known to have a drink problem, appeared at Wycombe Magistrates last Monday to answer charges of breaching the order and using violence for securing entry.

No evidence was offered and both matters were discharged by the court but Stevens was bound over by magistrates to keep the peace for 12 months and ordered by the court to pay £100.

Stevens was originally given the order preventing him from entering a three mile exclusion zone in High Wycombe.

However he breached it in February this year when he staggered on to a bus brandishing a knife.

He was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment for that earlier offence.
