Great women of Richmond

A guided walk focusing on many of the famous women who made Richmond their home takes place this Saturday.

The walk has been organised in association with the Museum of Richmond which is currently staging its Richmond Women exhibition and includes Queen Elizabeth I, Emma Hamilton and Virginia Woolf.

It starts at 2pm from the steps of the Old Town Hall, Richmond.

Dancing feet

Dance company The Cholmondeleys leapt into Whitton School on Tuesday. They were at the school to give a workshop in contemporary dance to 13 to 16-year-olds.

The troupe is in Richmond to take part in this year's Leap Into Dance festival and will be appearing at the theatre on Thursday March 26.
