Bus death case is adjourned

Ceaser Hoyos the bus driver involved in a fatal accident with a motorcyclist last October had his case adjourned for three weeks at Richmond magistrates Court. Mr Hoyos from New Malden is being charged with driving without due care and attention. He will appear before the court again on Thursday March 19.

Girls visit court

Waldegrave Girls School pupils will appear at Richmond Magistrates Court March 28 - but not on criminal charges. They are taking part in a nationwide competition which involves taking the parts of defence and prosecution lawyers They will try two specially written cases involving drugs and grievous bodily harm.

Money advice

A new scheme to help people in debt has been set up by the Money Advice Unit part of the Citizens Advice Bureau and funded by Richmond Council. Appointments must be made - call 0181 891 7454.

Farewell show

Blood appeal

Blood donors are wanted at the Parkshot Centre, Richmond from 2pm to 4.30pm and 5.30pm to 7.45pm on Thursday next week. Donors need to be age 18 to 60 and weigh at least seven stone.
