Dame Thora visits Home

Anti-5 MP

Jenny Tonge, MP for Richmond Park, is due to present evidence to the T5 inquiry today. The MP plans to stress that she believes a fifth terminal at Heathrow would be a disaster and would not help in reducing road traffic.

No soccer here

Conservative councillor Geoffrey Samuel has called for a residents' forum to be set up following rumours that football matches could be played at Twickenham. Mr Samuel said: "We would never agree to soccer matches unless we were convinced the interests of residents were safeguarded."

Fantasy design

Youngsters are invited to take part in a fantasy creature competition as part of the National Science, Engineering and Technology Celebration.
