A new seven-week course on improving parent skills begins on Friday, February 27, at the Greenwood Centre in School Road, Hampton Hill.
The course is designed for parents of children in the early years and has been developed by the Family Caring Trust.
Each of the sessions will be held on Friday from 1.30pm to 3pm with a video presentation followed by discussions and pooling of ideas on how to care for children aged up to six.
Mike Day, who is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, will be running the sessions and a creche is available at £1 per session. The cost of the course is £5 and a handbook is available. Telephone 0181 941 3902.
