ROBBERS grabbed a 21-year-old man as he walked over Richmond Bridge at midnight, threatening to slit his throat if he did not hand over cash.

The victim was walking across to Twickenham at 12.30am on February 25th when he was approached by two men.

One of them asked him for a light, and the second grabbed him from behind and held a knife to the left side of his throat.

The muggers led the man down to the slip road alongside the bridge where they took £90 cash from his back pocket.

The first robber was black, 6ft tall, around 21 years of age and of athletic build. He had a black goatee beard and dark open collared jacket with a blue fabric hood.

The second robber is described as Asian, 5ft 7ins tall, around 21 years old of stocky build.

He wore dark clothing with a NY logo on his front and white trainers.
