A FLASHER who struck at the home of a Teddington woman on Monday was frightened away by her dog.

The woman had returned to her Munster Road home on October 4 at 1.45am, and was getting ready for bed when she heard a knock on the front door.

She opened the front door after putting it on the chain, but could not see anyone outside and went back upstairs. There was another knock on the door so she again opened it, this time there was a man standing there, repeatedly stating that his name was Peter. He then began to touch himself indecently but got scared and ran away after she made a derogatory comment about his genitals and her dog barked at him.

She described him as white, 27 years old, 6ft tall of a medium build, wearing a dark jacket with a hood.
