A memorial fund has been set up by the family of a woman who died after fire ripped through her home.
Janie Lamb, 41, was found unconscious by firefighters at her home in Esmond Road, Chiswick, after a fire broke out at 11.45pm, on February 26.
She was taken to Charing Cross Hospital but later died.
The Miss Janie Lamb Gift of Hope Heart fund was set up by her family and has already raised more than £900 for the British Heart Foundation.
Messages have been left on the website from friends and family devastated by Miss Lamb’s death.
A message from Mum, Bill, Billy and Alfie read: “With all our love Janie, please know how much you are loved, and how deeply your loss is felt by us all. We will remember you and love you forever x.”
Debbie Heagney O’Flaherty wrote: “I am so saddened to hear of your passing. I will always remember the good times we had in our youth, especially us all singing, the old Barry and Engelbert songs before hitting the Packhorse. Rest peacefully my old friend.”
Another message from family friends Phil, Meg and Matthew said: “What can we say? Janie’s passing leaves a huge hole in all our hearts.
“And what will we miss? In brief, love of life, her vivacity and her generosity of spirit. We will miss you so much Janie.”
So far £762 has been donated to the appeal, amounting to £940 with gift aid.
About 30 firefighters battled the blaze, which damaged the roof and half of the first floor of Miss Lamb’s house, where she lived alone. It is thought the source of a fire was a cigarette.
A spokeswoman from the Metropolitan Police confirmed the blaze was not being treated as suspicious.
Ms Lamb's funeral was held at Mortlake Crematorium on Friday.
