Curry house gets curfew

The owners of a curry house where diners were attacked by a bottle-wielding lout have had their opening hours reduced.

In a bid to prevent more problems at Karahi Palace, in Cavendish Parade, Hounslow, police requested a fast track licensing review be approved on Monday.

Hounslow Council’s licensing committee granted the application, which put in place temporary orders on the restaurant, including banning doors being open after 1am and forcing the owners to have three door staff manning the entrance on Friday and Saturday nights.

Police officers are still looking for witnesses to the February 26 attack, which saw one man taken to hospital with head injuries.

Three men, aged 25, 51 and 50, were assaulted inside the curry house at 11.25pm.

A man was arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information should call police on 020 8247 6160/5940 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
