A 16-old-year was handed an eight year jail term for stabbing a man repeatedly with a kitchen knife.
Pierre Lewis, of Slade House in Edgar Road, Whitton, was given the sentence at the Old Bailey today after pleading guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in October.
The court heard Lewis, who was convicted of attempted robbery when he was 13, stabbed Ihab Chedade, 29, four times with a 6in knife after a fight broke at the housing estate, on the Hounslow borders, on June 30.
Judge Tim Pontius said: "The fact is there is no doubt you intended to hurt him very badly.
"In that intention you were successful."
As well as the stab wounds Mr Chedade's left lung collapsed almost completely and he suffered a fractured left wrist in the attack.
Detective Constable Andy Thrower of Twickenham Crime Squad, who was in charge of the case, said he was happy with the sentence.
