A builder accused of killing his wife in India has appeared in court.
Jagpaljeet Singh Kular, 41, of Berkeley Avenue, Cranford, is said to have killed Manjit Kaur Kular, also 41, in the Punjab in November 2007.
Mrs Kular allegedly vanished on the way to a Diwali festival.
Her husband appeared at Sutton Magistrates' Court on July 7 charged with murder. He was remanded in custody until he appears at the Old Bailey in October.
