Speed dating will fire up your love life

SPEED dating for the over 30s is about to heat up the borough's love lives, when Catalyst hold their first meeting of the new year in Brentford's trendy restaurant/bar, The Fire Station.

At the Speed Dating Events, guests have the opportunity to meet up to 25 single members of the opposite sex in one evening. Having been welcomed on arrival, participants then spend three minutes chatting to other speeders.

If a match is found, details are swapped but whether you meet that special someone or not, there is always the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people who may be simply new friends.

Speed Dating is the new craze for meeting people and Catalyst decided to organise some events specifically for the over 30's, as many events are targeted at people in their twenties.

They recognised that there are lots of single people in their 30's, 40's and 50's who are looking to meet that special someone, yet not that many events aimed at this age group.

They are hoping this will be especially popular as the New Year gets underway and people decide they want to meet new friends. Gaynor McIlvenna from Catalyst said: "All our speeders are sociable, single, professional people simply looking to meet new people, so if this sounds like you then call us on the booking hotline to find out more and book onto one of our events, we look forward to chatting with you!"

Their next event will be on Sunday January 18 at the trendy "Old Fire Station" in Brentford for anyone between 30 45 years old.

To book or to register your details with Catalyst so that they can inform you of future suitable events to your liking, simply email them on talk2catalyst@aol.com.
