Police have released the name of the man gunned down in Fulham last week.

Anthony Otton, was shot dead in Fulham Court on June 4.

Police were called to reports of shots at 6.50pm where they found Mr Otton, 28, suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

A post mortem examination held at Fulham Mortuary on June 5 gave cause of death as a single gunshot wound to the heart.

"The victim is believed to have been with friends at the address when he left just before 6.50pm," a Met Police spokesman said.

An incident room was opened at Barnes under Detective Chief Inspector Howard Groves from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command.

A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection the investigation. The man was taken into custody at a west London police station but has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
