A 62-year-old has been charged with causing death by careless driving after a cycling campaigner was killed in a collision in Brentford.

Jamal Kanfani from Rivercourt Road, Hammersmith, was charged on March 30 with causing the death of Michael Fletcher, 60, by careless driving.

Mr Fletcher died after his cycle was in collision with a Chrysler 4-door saloon on Great West Road, outside the Great West Trading Estate at about 2.40pm on November 26 last year.
