THE INDIAN women’s cricket team which suffered an exodus of team members while staying in Hounslow during their tour of the country, flew home this week leaving three of their players behind.

After arriving last month from Jalanbhar, capital of Punjab State, the Lynex Cricket Club stayed at two houses in Clifford Road and St Paul’s Road, Hounslow but had only been in the country three days when five team members ran off.

Even though two of the girls eventually returned, their line-up of matches had to be cancelled, and the group flew back on Tuesday leaving behind Ekta Andotra, 21, Baljeep Kaur, 23, and Mandeep Virk, 19, whose visas have now run out. It’s believed the girls fled of their own accord after taking their belongings with them. Police are still seeking information on their whereabouts. Call the missing persons unit on 020 8247 6224.
