GOLFERS swung for charity last week, raising £9,000 for a cancer support centre based at West Middlesex Hospital.
Seventeen teams teed off at Wyke Green Golf Course on September 9 to raise money for The Mulberry Centre, which provides counselling and support at the hospital on Twickenham Road, Isleworth.
Teams came from keen supporters of the centre within the local business and golfing communities including Bouygues, Agfa and Hounslow Heath Golf Club. The winning team was the Tampa Bay Sunshine Boys from Hounslow Heath Golf Club.
