‘Despicable’ attack leaves church covered in graffiti

A Hounslow police inspector has expressed his disgust at criminal damage carried out at St Michael and All Angels church in Chiswick.

The church’s alter shroud was daubed with graffiti between 2pm and 4pm on Friday, October 31. Police are keen to speak to a man aged about 20 and about 6ft, wearing a blue hooded top and jeans, who was seen in the area at the time.

Inspector Manpreet Bains said: “This was a despicable act. I would appeal to anyone with any information regarding this incident to contact Hounslow police or Crimestoppers.”
