A 16-YEAR-OLD girl was sexually assaulted by a man as she made her way through a Twickenham park to sit an exam at school on Monday The teenager was walking through Crane Park at 1.30pm on June 9th to her school where she had to sit and exam when she was approached by a man carrying a map who spoke with a foreign accent.

The man asked her for directions and when she began to direct him he brushed her chest with his hand. At first she let it pass thinking it was an accident but he then did it again and grabbed her behind. When she struggled to get away from him he tried to wrench her arms towards him. She managed to pull away from him and screaming ran towards the exit of the park. The man followed her all the way to the edge of the park. When she was out he disappeared back in.

She described him as white, 25-years-old, 5ft 11ins of stocky build with short black hair. He spoke with a foreign accent. After the assault she made her way to school where she sat her exam before contacting police.
