Charlton Athletic will mark the end of its first coaching scheme for youngsters at Whiteoaks Leisure Centre in Swanley this month with two special one-day events for five to 15-year-olds.

Launchd in September, the Charlton Challenge is run in 12-week periods to coincide with school terms and covers all aspects from basic skills through to the games finer points and techniques.

On Saturdays, December 9 and 16, youngsters are invited to spend a couple of hours at the centre in Hilda May Avenue. This Saturdays course runs from 2-4pm, while on Saturday week it it on from 1-4pm. It costs £3 per session and early booking is recommended as places are limited. Those attending will get a goodie bag.
