Battersea Park is set to host a festival featuring an exciting line-up of musical talent this summer showcasing the best in classical, West End and jazz music.

Following a successful debut in the previous year, the annual picnic concert is back with classical, West End, and jazz music against the stunning backdrop of Battersea Park.

The three-day event from August 24 to 26 will commence with the Proms in the Park on Saturday.

Under the baton of conductor Pete Harrison, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra is slated to perform an array of orchestral music, spanning from the timeless classics of Bach and Mozart to the evocative movie scores of John Williams.

The evening will also feature a spectacular fireworks finale, with classical performer and presenter Myleene Klass as host and special guest.

Alex Mendham, along with his Orchestra, will provide a musical aperitif with their toe-tapping songs, transporting everyone back to the glamourous era of the 1920s.

Sunday's line-up brings 'A Night at the Musicals' featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and a host of special guest singers.

The evening will be conducted by Richard Balcombe and hosted by Olivier Award-winning West End star Cassidy Janson.

Attendees can expect over 25 musical theatre songs from Chicago, Rent, Six, The Greatest Showman, Grease and many more, performed by the likes of Jenna Lee James, Sharon Rose, Ricardo Afonso and Dean Chisnall, with the backing of the 40-strong London Concert Chorus.

Monday focuses on jazz, with the iconic Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra led by Pete Long delivering renditions of jazz classics, big swing numbers, and modern favourites.

The London African Gospel Choir will also be performing their interpretation of Paul Simon’s Graceland album with a full live band.

The day concludes with a celebration of New York City's legendary Cotton Club of the 1920s and ‘30s.

Battersea Park in Concert also offers a range of food and drink including gourmet picnics prepared by The Luxury Picnic Co, KERB street food, is also set to curate the culinary and bar experience this year.

Upgrades such as the Gold Circle area and the Diamond VIP Experience are also available to elevate the experience.

There is also Kids Tipiland, an interactive space for young enthusiasts to explore their creativity and imagination through various activities and games.
