Four men have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death at Strawberry Hill railway station on Monday night.

Officers were called to the station at 11.53pm on January 8 and a 21-year-old man was found with a serious stab injury.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his family are being supported by specialist officers.

British Transport Police has increased their patrols in the area this afternoon and evening since launching a murder investigation earlier today (January 9).

The scene guard remains in place and is expected to be lifted later this afternoon.

The incident is believed to be linked to another incident in Alexandra Close in Twickenham at around 11.57pm the same day.

Four remain in police custody – a 19-year-old man, 20-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy.

Trains are currently not calling at the Strawberry Hill Station and disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.

Services that run through these stations will be cancelled or delayed – according to National Rail.
