A 23-year-old man will appear in court today (July 14) charged with the murder of two French students in New Cross.
Daniel Sonnex, from Peckham, will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court charged with the murders and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The bodies of Gabriel Ferez and Laurent Bonomo, both 23, were found in Mr Bonomo's flat in Sterling Gardens, New Cross, on June 29.
Both had suffered multiple stab wounds before their bodies were set alight.
A 35-year-old man has been bailed to return to a south London police station later this month.
He was arrested in connection with the investigation in Streatham on Wednesday along with a 25-year-old woman, who has been bailed to return to a south London police station next month.
- Nigel Farmer, aged 33, of no fixed address, appeared at Greenwich Magistrates' Court on Thursday, charged with murdering Mr Ferez and Mr Bonomo.
He was also charged with arson and attempting to pervert the course of justice and was remanded in custody until his next appearance at the Old Bailey on October 16.
