Fun was had by all as a Richmond school celebrated its 150th anniversary with a summer fete last week.
The Victorian-themed fete at The Vineyard School, held on Saturday, June 21, attracted almost 1,000 visitors and raised £14,000 for the school.
The event featured maypole dancing, a silent auction and a Victorian dressing-up stall. Other activities centred around the environment, and included a steel band workshop on recycled drumming, the painting of eco-bags, and games made out of recycled materials, such as tin can bowling.
