Being situated over the tranquil Brentford Lock is not the only thing going for the Holiday Inn Hotel located there.
It has also become the proud winner of four prestigious awards within the chain, including the Hotel of the Year Award (UK) and the General Manager of the Year Award.
The hotel of the year awards recognise the top hotels in each region that have achieved the best results in satisfying owners, customers, employees and communities.
Key members of the hotel chain were at a ceremony on Tuesday, including Denzil Ratnan, the award-winning general manager, and proud co-owner of the hotel, Shiraz Boghani.
Mr Ratnan said: "It is a tremendous honour to win the general manager of the year award. I have motivated and involved each member of my team and by having all staff on board we achieved the 2007 Hotel of the Year awards."
