Pupils, parents and teachers at Feltham Hill Infant and Nursery School were celebrating after Government inspectors found the school provides an "outstanding quality of education".
Ofsted visited the school in March and found the school had a strong focus on teaching basic skills, high expectations by teachers and a commitment to working closely with parents.
Headteacher June Cribb said: "I am delighted with the report which reflects the hard work of governors and staff who, together with parents of the school, ensure the children receive an outstanding education."
