Papa John's in London Road, Isleworth, provided the perfect base for a lesson in food service this week for almost 100 four and five-year-old pupils from nearby Marlborough Primary School.
Staff at the pizza makers, who recently won a medal in food making from Papa John's UK head office, showed the children how to slap dough, distribute toppings, bake and even box the finished product to take away with them.
Papa John's supplied dough, toppings and goodie bags for every pupil.
The store's franchisee Shakir Margan said his staff were trained to build "the best possible pizza".
He said: "It is also interesting the classes are focusing on staff uniforms as we believe the customer sees every team member as an extension of the store.
"We insist on clean, smart, branded outfits for every member."
