Andy Scott has vowed to see his rebuilding job at Brentford through after his side were booed off on Tuesday night.
The Bees, who host relegation-threatened Macclesfield Town on Saturday, endured a chorus of abuse when they left the field at half-time 3-0 down against Bury.
They improved after the break but went on to lose 4-1, and the 35-year-old manager has demanded his players silence their critics.
"The fans have had enough to deal with this season and to go back to those poor performances is not acceptable - I won't have it," he said.
"The fans can rest assured I will be doing everything I can to make sure they won't happen again.
"Everyone is entitled to give us stick after that first half but what I will say is there is a plan in place for next season.
"I am definitely going to be here and I won't let players who aren't doing it for me jeopardise what I want to do at this club and how we are going to progress."
