Globe-trotting busker David Juritz has opened a charity christmas card shop at his church, St Michael & All Angels, Bedford Park.

Juritz, whose round-the-world-busking took him to Tokyo and New York, was joined by the shop's manager, Anne Mower, the church's curate Mother Katherine Hedderly and children from the Orchard House School.

The Cards for Good Causes shop will be open at the church from now until Christmas, selling cards for 35 charities.

Each charity will receive over 80p in each pound from the sale of their cards.

Last year, the scheme raised over £5 million for charities such as Barnardo's, Help The Aged, MENCAP and the British Heart Foundation.

Juritz returned to Chiswick last month after spending 18 weeks busking around the world, playing Bach.

He raised an astonishing £18,738 for his new charity, Musequality.

Musequality's aim is to raise money and awareness for funding musical projects in deprived areas across the globe.

Juritz will return to St Michael's on Saturday, December 15 for a Christmas concert in aid of the charity.

Cards for Good Causes is open from Monday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm, except on Wednesday, when it opens at 1pm.

St Michael's church is on Bath Road, Chiswick, close to Turnham Green tube station.
