Country vocalist Mandy Winters brings Diana Dors: Her Story to Hampton for two performances next month.

Mandy portrays the screen legend who starred in films including Yield to the Night and The Unholy Wife, guested on TV programmes such as The Two Ronnies and Blankety Blank and appeared in the music video to Adam and the Ants single Prince Charming.

Both the shows take place in September at the Hampton Hill Theatre.

Mandy, who is a Kent based yodeller, said: "A lot of people don't realise that Diana Dors was a cabaret singer as well as a movie star and sex symbol.

"Diana Dors - Her Story covers her life through words and music, covering the highs and lows of her life with a lot of naughtiness included.

"She was an incredible lady and an underrated actress. A true entertainer. But as she quite famously said, 'My career has always come second to whatever man I was seeing' which I have to say is the story of my life too."

Diana Dors: Her Story takes place at Hampton Hill Theatre on September 7 and 8. Tickets available here.
