A Richmond law firm partner has been nominated for an award by The Law Society.
Trevor Sterling is partner at Moore Blatch and specialises in major trauma, personal injury and medical relations.
He was nominated as ‘Solicitor of the Year,’ in this years Law Society Excellence Awards. Mr Sterling has been nominated for his excellent practice and outstanding contribution to the sector and community.
Mr Sterling said: “I am delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. I would like to thank my team in the Major Trauma Department and Moore Blatch for providing me with the support and encouragement to continue to pursue my passions and help even more people.
“I am proud to work with such a great firm and with so many dedicated and hard-working people.”
He has been hailed as someone who goes ‘that extra mile’ to help those in need, working on high profile cases including the Croydon tram crash in 2017.
As part of his work, Mr Sterling also helped establish the Major Trauma Team within Moore Blatch and created the Major Trauma Service in collaboration with the NHS.
Mr Sterling joined the legal profession after completing his O-Levels, aged 17. By the age of 27 he became partner.
Previously, he has been awarded the Rehabilitation First Award and Law Society’s Rising Start Award
