Love Island winner Jack Fincham has said he is excited to finally meet Danny Dyer tomorrow.

The Swanley pen salesman won the ITV2 dating series with Dani last week, but has not yet met the EastEnders actor or Dani's mother, Joanne Mas, apart from via a video call while in the show's villa, because they have been on holiday in Florida.

Jack told ITV's Good Morning Britain of the impending meeting: "I'm looking forward to that, it's Dani's birthday tomorrow.

"I've met the rest of the family, her nan, her granddad - Bruv - and all her friends, it's just them two because they've been on holiday."

He added: "I'm looking forward to it, it'll be fun, I like meeting new people anyway."

On reports that the actor said he would "guide" Jack and Dani, Jack said: "I think he means (that he will) just sort of guide me in what life is going to be like now ... I hope.

"Hopefully it's in that way, because it's all so new to me, and he's been in that kind of industry."

Jack revealed that he has bought Dani an item of "really nice" jewellery for her 22nd birthday, but said it is not an engagement ring.

"She's going to love it," he said, adding: "It's something she's mentioned before. I'm going to give it to her with a big presentation."

He said there is "no chance" he and Dani will get married "any time soon".

"I saw that somewhere that I was getting married, and I was like, not yet!" Fincham said.

The 26-year-old stationery salesman also told of his concerns over appearing in Love Island, which sees young singletons wearing swimwear for weeks on end in the Majorcan villa.

Jack, who has been praised by Danny for not having abs, said: "Before I went in - I've seen the show so many times before and I just thought 'I know I'm going to walk round this corner and there's going to be abs and biceps everywhere' - and I was just like 'I can't do this'.

"And then I thought 'Do you know what? This is my opportunity, just go for it and use your personality'.

"So I went for it. But I was so body-conscious going in there at the start. But as it went on, I was just being more free with my body."
