This summer the Royal Borough of Greenwich will be funding nutritious free meals for children.
The meals for school-aged children will be provided by Greenwich Cooperative Development Agency (GCDA).
Summer Feast, the mobile kitchen, is run by GCDA in partnership with Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL), who are also part funding the project, and Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) Youth Services.
It will be in locations across the Royal Borough from July 23 until the school term begins again in September 2018.
Councillor Dan Thorpe, Leader of Royal Greenwich, said: "For some children and families on low incomes the long summer holiday break is a challenging time when regular free school lunches are not available.
"However, Summer Feast will banish rumbling tummies with yummy meals to look forward to, so kids can get on with being kids."
There's no need to sign up in advance, but adults must accompany children if they are under six years old and going to a playground, or under ten years old and going to a youth centre.
