We are very sorry to say that summer is cancelled after police seized an ice cream van in Greenwich.
Charlton enforcement team were going about their business yesterday (August 1) when they noticed something not completely legal in Creek Road.
This pretty pink ice cream van was driving around not only on a provisional licence but also without any insurance.
The usual hilarious jokes ensued on Twitter...
David Bull said: "Flake 999."
Ritchie Brockies said: "Hope they coned the area off."
Similar from Neil Findlay, who said: "Did you ‘cone’ the road off whilst you recovered the vehicle? Bet you were ‘flaked’ our after that!"
Vincent Pink said: "I’m assuming as all the goods inside are perishable they didn’t go to waste and were also seized!"
Steve Cochran: "Will it cost him a lot of lolly to get the van back? Did you tell him to come and fetch it on Sundae?"
