The Royal Parks are giving bug enthusiasts the chance to learn about the minibeasts that live in parks.
The Royal Parks charity’s ‘Mission: Invertebrate’ mission goes on the road this summer, with the support of players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of creatures such as snails, worms, spiders and insects in the ecosystem.
Many of these creatures are under threat, the project hopes to get people involved in conservation work which will help them thrive.
Families can uncover the fascinating secrets of invertebrates, through bug hunting, critter crafting and storytelling.
The roadshow runs throughout July and August at each of the capitals Royal Parks, including Richmond and Busy Park.
Activities will be on offer between 11am and 3pm and are free with no booking required.
