Sir Mo Farah visited Orleans Park School to launch Disney’s 24-hour challenge.

Sir Farah and his family are undertaking a total of 24 hours of activity to inspire the nation to get active.

He and his wife visited the school on Friday, June 22 where they met the children, PE teachers and launched the campaign.

Sir Mo Farah said: “Being active together as a family is so important to us, which is why we jumped at the chance to complete Disney’s 24 Hour Challenge this summer, and hope to inspire other families to take on the challenge too.

“We’ve already tried a few of the missions like the Super Dance Off and the Incredi-Crawl, which our kids absolutely loved doing. My daughters are teaching me how to do the ‘floss’ dance was definitely a highlight!

“With four kids, I know it’s not easy to always keep them entertained during the summer holidays, but by joining us in the 24 Hour Challenge, families have access to loads of free, fun activities they can do together, and all for a good cause – teams can help to support Unicef UK.”

Sir Mo Farah and Disney have joined forces to launch the Incredibles 24 Hour Challenge – a free, family-friendly challenge that can be done anywhere at any time throughout the summer.

In teams, families and friends are encouraged to clock up a total of 24 hours of physical activity between the 3rd June and 9th September 2018, with a chance to support Unicef UK’s work.

Marianthi O'Dwyer, vice president at the Healthy Living UK, The Walt Disney Company said: “The Healthy Living commitment at Disney aims to use the power of our characters and storytelling, to inspire families to be more active.

“With 24 missions to take inspiration from, there is something for everyone – and you don’t need to be a gold medallist to take part! We hope that families have an incredible summer clocking up 24 hours of fun, and in turn have a chance to support the work of Unicef UK.”
