Grow lovely roses and you could scoop up to £1,000 at Squire’s Garden Centre.

Squire’s Garden Centre is calling on all budding horticulturists to enter the loveliest rose from their garden into “Nation’s Prettiest Rose” competition.

The event will be held at Squire’s Garden Centre on Sixth Cross Road in Twickenham on Saturday, June 23, from 9am to 6pm, and entrance is free.

The winner will receive £50 of Squire’s vouchers, and two runners-up will each receive £25 in vouchers.

A photo of each winning regional rose from around the country will be posted on ww.sungardening.co.uk and a panel of judges will award The Nation’s Prettiest Roses a first prize of £1,000, a second prize of £500 and a third prize of £250.

Visitors get a 20 percent discount off any rose from June 23 until July 1 when they buy anything from Squire’s Garden Centre’s Café Bar.
