A housing association gifted its staff with a touring jukebox to celebrate being named as one of the best places to work.
Richmond Housing Partnership, based in Waldegrave Road, Teddington, was given platinum status by Investors in People, an organisation that awards businesses for employee satisfaction.
Only 0.5 per cent of organisations in the UK have attained platinum status, with very few in the housing sector.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised in this way,” said RHP chief executive David Done, on March 12.
“The Platinum accreditation is the culmination of three years hard work and reflects our drive to continuously improve our employee experience.
“We’re passionate about providing an environment where people are encouraged to be themselves, feel trusted and empowered, are given meaningful opportunities and strive to deliver excellent service.”
In 2016, RHP launched the UK’s first digital-only housing service designed to "reduce costs and improve service".
What is a 'touring' jukebox? The Richmond and Twickenham Times asked RHP on March 14 and are waiting for a response.
