A Twickenham restaurant wants to “shout from the rooftops” after receiving the fantastic news that they are one of the top Italian restaurants in London.

A Cena, in Richmond Road, Twickenham, were rated sixth across all of London by impressed customers.

Book A Table, the reservation service owned by the world-famous Michelin brand, gave them the news on Friday, March 2.

Owner Justine Kemsley said: “It’s quite significant for a little independent restaurant in South London so we want to shout it from the rooftops!

“We’re absolutely thrilled, there’s a lot of competition and a lot of Italian restaurants these days, especially in Richmond.

“We’ve got a 95 per cent approval rating… it’s something the customers have done themselves.”

A Cena has been open since 2001 and has had the same head chef since day one.

Michel Cassius, CEO of Bookatable said: “At Bookatable, we love great restaurants and are committed to offering our diners a wide choice of places to eat.

“What makes the Bookatable Diner Awards special is that they are granted by the restaurant diners themselves, people who have enjoyed their dining experience and are keen to recommend the restaurants they love.

“We all know how much trusted reviews matter to everyone.”
