'Baby' Ben was born twenty years ago to mum Sarah Palfrey on January 1 1998 at Kingston Hospital. He weighed 7lb 1oz.
Kingston Hospital welcomed nine other New Year babies in 1998.
Among these were Sue Blight's twin girls, Millie and Daisy, who weighed 6lb and 6lb 3oz respectively.
Five years later, on 1 January 2003, Oscar Boatswain was born to his proud mum Beth Barker, weighing 7lbs 3oz.
Megan Klass was born at 3.45am to mum Nicki Klass of Twickenham, she weighed 8lbs 3oz.
Clare Salter of Mortlake had a double celebration with twin boys Thomas and William, born just a minute apart.
