A Battersea woman joined more than 400 women at the Woman of the Year Lunch as a ‘2017 Woman of Achievement’.
Toto James, 44, was regarded as a ‘Woman of the Year’ alongside each of the guests at the lunch and is said to have represented not just herself, but millions of women across the world.
She said: “I am honoured to have joined so many women of achievement at such an amazing event to celebrate so many extraordinary women.
“I would never have expected to be linked with such inspiration figures.”
Other notable women in attendance included Dame Jacqueline Wilson, Mel Giedroyc, Nadiya Hussain and Theresa May.
Ms James was praised for her work as a marketing consultant with leading law firms and her work with the Women’s Institute.
In addition, she is a trustee of the Surrey Federation of Women’s Institutes (SFWI) and is involved in several roles which include advising other branches in London in various legal areas.
She lives in Battersea and runs her own marketing consultancy, Criminalegal Consulting, and is the head of marketing at McCarthy Denning in the City of London.
