Teddington Theatre Club celebrated its 90th birthday last Saturday (October 14) in the style of the decade in which it began.
The ladies dressed in the style of the 1920s, while the gentlemen were asked to sport dinner jackets.
Tea was followed by cocktails in the Coward Suite of the Hampton Hill Theatre, while the rooms were themed Art décor in silver and black.
Long-standing joined newer members to hear their president, Roger Smith, pay tribute to well-loved members that are no longer with them.
He said it was a “mark of the health of the club” that it had a steady turnover of new members, bringing “fresh ideas and creative concepts” with them.
A team of members served tea and drinks throughout the evening, while piano was played to entertain the guests.
